Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $25.00-$28.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Number of Positions: 1

Work Location: 1999 Country Club Way, Victoria, BC V9B 6R3

Medical and Dental Care

Job Duties

Prepare and cook meals routinely and for special events or guest requests

Keep records of food expenses, usage, sales, and inventory

Coordinate the purchase and repair of equipment

Hire and train junior staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff

Supervise cooks and kitchen staff, assigning duties and ensuring food quality and safety standards

Plan menus and ensure all food prepared meets established quality and presentation standards

Job requirements

Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

Education: Completion of secondary school is required
