We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their furry companions, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, handling client inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners.
Duties
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for veterinary services.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients regarding services, treatments, and general pet care.
- Process patient records and maintain accurate client information in our database.
- Handle billing and payment transactions efficiently.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Provide information on laboratory services offered at the clinic to clients.
- Ensure that all client interactions reflect the values of compassion and care that our clinic stands for.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology is a plus; familiarity with laboratory procedures is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a quick-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and record management.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Should be able to work night shifts.
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 years (preferred)
- Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
