Responsibilities

- Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, treatments,



and surgeries by preparing equipment and restraining animals safely.
- Provide basic animal care, including feeding, bathing, grooming, and administering medication as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, kennels, surgical suites, and equipment to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Support client communication by answering questions about pet care instructions and scheduling appointments.
- Monitor animals’ behavior during visits to ensure safety for both pets and staff.
- Keep accurate records of treatments, medications administered, and patient histories in compliance with clinic protocols.
- Handle laboratory samples with care, preparing specimens for testing while adhering to safety procedures.

Experience

- Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate attitude toward animals and their owners, with a proactive approach to learning current skills.
