ABOUT THE EVENT
I SEE YOU is an in-hospital immersive theatre experience taking place at SickKids Hospital. This fall, guests are invited to step behind the scenes at the Hospital for a one-of-a-kind experience created in partnership with leading Canadian theatre innovators. Through the immersive production, guests will experience stories of patients, families, clinicians and researchers,
connected by one idea: when we see each child as an individual, everything changes.
VOLUNTEER ROLES
Outdoor Wayfinding Support guests as they arrive by helping them navigate from parking areas to registration. Volunteers will provide a warm first point of contact, answer simple directional questions and help keep arrival flow clear and welcoming.

Theatre Wayfinding
Help guide guests through the immersive experience inside SickKids Hospital. Volunteers will support guest movement through key spaces and help ensure the theatre experience flows smoothly, safely and respectfully.

Registration and Coat Check
Support the guest arrival experience by welcoming attendees, checking guests in using a laptop-based registration system, printing name badges, and assisting with coat check services. Volunteers will help create an organized and welcoming environment while ensuring guests are checked in efficiently and personal belongings are handled with care.

Greeters/Floaters
Serve as a flexible event support volunteer, providing assistance wherever it is needed most throughout the guest experience. Greeter/Floater volunteers should be prepared to support Outdoor Wayfinding, Registration & Coat Check, or other guest services responsibilities as directed by event staff to help ensure smooth event operations.

Event dates: November 2**, 4, 5, 6*, 8*, 9, 11, 12, 13*, 15*, 16, 18, 19, and 20
Matinee
Show Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Volunteer Shift Time: 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Twilight
Show Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Volunteer Shift Time: 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- These performance dates only have a matinee showing.
**The November 2nd Twilight show concludes at 10:30pm; the volunteer shift will conclude at 11:00pm.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Outdoor Wayfinding, Registration & Coat Check, Greeters/Floaters: Virtual orientation on Thursday, October 29 at 12:00 PM. Recording available if unable to attend.
- Theatre Wayfinding: Must attend one in-person training at SickKids Hospital:
- Saturday, October 24 at 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, or
- Tuesday, October 27 at 5:30 – 7:30 PM.
