About Wellness Pharmacy

Wellness Pharmacy consists of community-focused pharmacies across the BC Lower Mainland. As an independently owned pharmacy, we are proud to provide patient-centered care within our communities. We work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to support the best possible care for our patients.

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Volunteer Pharmacy Assistant to join our Chilliwack pharmacy team 2 days per week.

This opportunity is suitable for someone looking to gain practical experience in a community pharmacy environment and develop their knowledge of pharmacy operations while working alongside an experienced pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet patients and provide friendly customer service
- Assist with general pharmacy workflow and administrative tasks
- Support prescription processing and data entry under appropriate supervision
- Assist with prescription pickups and organization
- Support pharmacy inventory, including receiving and organizing stock
- Assist with filing, scanning, and other administrative duties
- Maintain an organized and professional pharmacy environment




- Support the pharmacy team with other duties as required

Qualifications

- Pharmacy Assistant education or previous pharmacy-related experience is an asset
- Strong interest in gaining experience in a community pharmacy setting
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Requirements

- Availability to volunteer 2 days per week
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 15 kg (35 lbs)
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
