Apply knowledge, skills, and experience to work with the operations team and be able to work independently.How You Will Do ItReceive, update, and complete assigned preventative and demand maintenance work orders within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) QFM.Respond to and rectify assigned tasks in general facility services, equipment repair, HVAC (Heating Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and more.Source, plan, and organize required tools and materials for day-to-day tasks and projects.Maintain inventory levels for assigned site(s).Use building prints, schematics,



and other available documents while troubleshooting system failures and work requests.Solid understanding of building systems with an ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machines.Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and align with all company policies.RequiredWhat we look forCompletion of a two-year technical degree or equivalent and/or experience in a Facility Maintenance environment would be considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.Building systems knowledge including troubleshooting, repair, and replacement.In-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to look after service and repairs.Strong verbal and written communication skills. Daily reporting of site conditions is required.Ability to work independently on tasks and as part of a team.Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).Physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, including climbing ladders, operating machinery, lifting up to 75 lbs, and cleaning landscaping and exterior garbage bins.Strong interpersonal and time management skills.Strong customer service skills.Valid driver’s license and clean criminal record.PreferredExperience working in a school or similar setting.Experience with painting (interior and exterior), equipment repair and maintenance, plumbing, and electrical work.ScheduleMonday–Friday, 7:00 a.M. to 3:30 p.M. Start times may vary, and end times may extend based on operational needs. After the training period, this role will participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage.* This is a bargaining unit position *Pay RatePay Rate: $30.21 hourly.
