Join the University of Guelph as a temporary RVT specializing in Anesthesia at the Health Sciences Centre. This role offers a energetic opportunity to work with diverse animal patients and hone your clinical skills.

You will report to the Supervisor, Patient Care and Service Delivery, and support both anesthesia and radiation therapy services primarily. You'll play a crucial role in facilitating patient care and improving client interactions while fulfilling necessary operational needs in the veterinary department.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build client caseload through excellent customer service
• Communicate patient status and coordinate care with teams
• Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality
• Observe, evaluate health statuses, and administer treatments
• Prepare and monitor anesthetic protocols and patient recovery

Requirements:
• Completion of a Veterinary Technician program
• Active OAVT membership in good standing
• Successful VTNE completion and OAVT ethics exam
• 1-2 years RVT experience required
• Preferred anesthesia background of two years
