Chemco is a diversified Western Canadian company with operations that include multi-disciplinary construction, logistics, hauling, and access matting services across Canada. We are seeking an organized and reliable Administrative Assistant to join our Nisku office. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable supporting a fast-paced office with administrative, payroll, billing, safety documentation, logistics, and dispatch-related tasks. What You’ll Do

Provide administrative support to the Logistics and Access Matting teams to ensure efficient day-to-day departmental operations

Prepare and input forms related to invoicing, monthly progress billing, payroll, and time entry

Assist with clerical and general office duties, including filing, data entry, typing, copying, ordering office supplies, and supporting special projects as required

Submit and track employee expenses and assist with monitoring required safety certifications, upcoming expiries, and recertification requirements

Support coordination of information related to logistics, dispatch, scheduling as required

Contribute to team goals by completing related administrative tasks and supporting other departments when needed

What We’re Looking For





Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills

Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to learn company systems and processes

Strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills

Strong written communication skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a quick-paced office environment

Experience with logistics, dispatch, scheduling, or construction administration is considered an asset

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education or coursework in office administration, business administration, or a related field is considered an asset

Previous administrative, office, data entry, or coordination experience is an asset; candidates with strong transferable skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
