Help vulnerable youth achieve rehabilitation goals as a Casual On-Call Intensive Support & Supervision Program Worker with PLEA Community Services. This role is key in preventing youth re-offending in the Sunshine Coast region.
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor of Arts in social sciences or a comparable field along with experience in youth services. As an ISSP Worker, you will focus on supervising and mentoring youth facing challenges while fostering their integration into the community. Your efforts will target criminogenic behaviors and strengthen protective factors for the youth you support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement intervention plans based on case objectives
• Supervise youth under Youth Court Orders
• Engage youth in community-based activities
• Aid in building life skills and resilience
• Maintain compliance with court requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or similar
• Recent experience with at-risk youth
• Excellent relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of relevant youth support legislation
• Access to a personal vehicle for work
Foster meaningful connections and encourage protected choices for youth in your community.
