NOC 12011 - Supervisors, finance and insurance office workers
Supervise daily operations of finance and insurance office staff to ensure accurate transaction processing and quality customer service. Provide leadership, coaching, and process oversight to maintain compliance and achieve operational objectives.

Main Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of finance and insurance office staff, including scheduling and workload assignment.

Review and approve financial transactions, reconciliations, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control procedures.

Coach, train and evaluate team members; conduct performance feedback and support professional development.

Prepare operational reports, analyze trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Handle escalated client inquiries and complex account issues, liaising with other departments as necessary.

Requirements

Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum two years of experience in finance, accounting, or insurance office operations, including supervisory experience.

Proficiency with accounting and office software, including spreadsheets and database applications.

Working knowledge of financial recordkeeping, reconciliation, and internal control best practices.

Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution abilities.

Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
