This full time position serves in a critical role at The Salvation Army. You will be responsible for handling shelter inquiries, implementing diversion strategies to prevent homelessness, and assisting clients with various support needs. Key Responsibilities:
• Answer the Shelter Support Line and conduct callbacks
• Implement strategies to divert individuals from homelessness
• Manage intake forms accurately for new clients
• Liaise with external agencies for client support
• Monitor client activities and provide personal support
Requirements:
• High school diploma and specialized training related to addictions
• Familiarity with housing supports in PEI
• Strong knowledge of local regions and community resources
• Minimum three months of relevant frontline experience
• Certification in First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention
