Reporting to the Manager, UTIAS, the Financial Officer will support financial operations for the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering. Collaborating closely with the Senior Finance & Payroll Officer, you will ensure compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
• Forecast and plan departmental financial activities
• Monitor budgets to ensure compliance




• Reconcile funding accounts for grants and contracts
• Process payroll transactions accurately
• Maintain HRIS transactions according to policies

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in financial and payroll administration
• Experience in financial management and reporting
• Knowledge of FIS and HRIS systems
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
