This pivotal role in UBC's Faculty of Medicine ensures that educational and research programs are supported by maintaining operational excellence in over 150 VC rooms and 175 non-VC rooms. You will be integral in collaborating with health authorities, external consultants, and university service units. Your work will directly impact the quality of academic learning spaces provided to faculty and students across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage facility operations of VC and non-VC academic rooms
• Monitor and initiate improvements for space deficiencies
• Collaborate with Health Authority Facility Managers for security
• Oversee maintenance and repairs with contractors
• Facilitate transitions for new academic spaces and user training
Requirements:
• Experience in facilities management and project oversight
• Solid communication and project management skills
• Knowledge of safety and risk management
