We are a service-based organization made up of great people who work hard to get the job done and deliver excellence in the communities where we work and live.Description:ATCO Frontec is seeking a General Kitchen Helper to join our Camp Services team at Artemis Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia, approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. As the General Kitchen Helper, you will play a key role with food preparation, sanitation, and safety by actively following our health and safety procedures.The rate for this position is $18.00 an hour. Rates may be subject to change.ResponsibilitiesTo work safely with all the equipmentThe basic preparation of food, including the preparation of vegetables and snacksKitchen, general equipment, and facility clean up (table, floors, etc.)Responsible for inspecting the equipment and food on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisEnsure your station is always manned and supplies are fully stockedFollow requirements of the Health, Safety and Setting Management SystemOther duties as assigned by management from time to timeQualificationsValid Food Safe CertificateExperience working in a camp, kitchen or restaurant environment is considered an assetExcellent people skillsAbility to work effectively and efficiently supervised or unsupervisedAbility to prioritize and multitaskTeam playerWhy join our teamWe offer employee benefits, career advancement, and growth and development opportunitiesWe believe in safety above all else, and we foster a welcoming and diverse culture, and we're committed to an inclusive, fair, and respectful workplaceThis is a rotational position,
