Job Description Position: Senior Tax Analyst Primary Location: Toronto ON or Parsippany NJ Schedule: Hybrid (1 day in office) from our Toronto ON or Parsipanny NJ office Reports To: Sr. Tax Manager Compensation: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 + bonus + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary range for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, benefits, pension contributions or additional incentives. About This Role and About You The Senior Tax Analyst will report to the Senior Tax Manager and indirectly to the Vice President, Taxation, and will play a key role in supporting current and evolving U.S. tax compliance requirements, tax audit defense, consolidated tax accounting and financial reporting, global tax operations and assist in carrying out tax planning projects or initiatives. The Senior Tax Analyst willprepareor review required tax deliverables and will work closely with all members of the Canadian and US tax teams. Environmental, Health and Safety Responsibilities Become familiar with Chemtrade Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H;) policies and procedures. Immediately report all ES&H; incidents (injuries, near misses, releases). Complete all required ES&H; training in a timely fashion. Follow all Chemtrade facility and corporate ES&H; procedures and practices. Attend and actively participate in facility ES&H; meetings and forums that will drive employee involvement. Provide feedback and suggestions for ES&H; program improvement. Participate in job safety analysis activities. Qualifications 3+ years relevant experience working in a large, complex, multi-national company or major accounting firm. US CPA designation or in-progress pursuit of CPA designation preferred Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree (MAcc, MTax, MBA) is an asset In-depth knowledge in the areas of US corporate taxation and tax accounting is required.
