This role will directly impact student experience by improving exam scheduling accuracy, accessibility, and operational efficiency across the institution.You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team including developers, business analysts, and accessibility stakeholders to deliver both technical upgrades and meaningful product enhancements. secure deployments, and DevSecOps best practicesOptimize system performance, database queries, and scalability for peak usage periodsCollaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and maintain documentationSkills and Qualifications8+ years of experience developing and modernizing PHP applications; 5+ years in Symfony (including at least 3 successful framework/runtime upgrade projects). Demonstrated experience operating secure, production web applications (hardening, patching, secrets management, SSO/OAuth/SAML integrations). Proven track record implementing scheduling/constraint logic, or other complex business rulesStrong experience with MySQL and performance tuning in production environmentsProven experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and DevOps practicesExperience building RESTful APIs and data integration pipelinesStrong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAll qualified applicants will receive fair consideration for employment.
