This position involves supporting regulatory compliance testing, assessing controls, and ensuring adherence to industry standards within a dynamic financial setting.Pay rate range (CAD): $54.84/hr – $65.80/hrResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and document compliance control testing engagements aligned with internal and regulatory standardsPrepare thorough audit and testing reports, clearly articulating findings and control gapsUnderstand and interpret applicable regulations, ensuring testing activities reflect recent regulatory changesIdentify, document, and evaluate controls related to wealth management and banking operationsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and recommend control improvementsTrack and report on testing efforts versus project timelines and budgetsLead testing initiatives, review the work of junior team members, and ensure quality standards are metMaintain comprehensive documentation for all testing activities according to established policies and standardsProactively identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectivenessParticipate in business initiatives, internal audits, and regulatory audits as assignedCommunicate effectively with all levels of internal stakeholders, fostering a collaborative work environmentDesired Skill-SetMinimum 5 years of controls testing or internal audit experience, preferably within banking, wealth management, or financial servicesStrong knowledge of national and international audit standards (e.G., ISAs,
