As an Assembler, you’ll play a hands‑on role building reliable equipment that supports food production and packaging operations around the world. You’ll join Unifiller Systems, a Coperion brand – part of Hillenbrand, where we design and manufacture industrial filling solutions used across a wide range of applications. This role is based at our manufacturing operation in Richmond, BC, and contributes directly to product quality, customer trust, and long‑term operational excellence. Your work will help ensure every system leaves the floor ready to perform safely, accurately, and consistently.What you’ll doAssemble, fit, and install prefabricated components using hand tools and small power tools to complete subassemblies and finished products.Read and interpret drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions to determine correct assembly methods and sequencing.Verify that assembled products meet defined tolerances and quality standards through careful inspection and measurement.Follow established quality, safety, and work instructions to meet Unifiller Systems manufacturing standards.Support the onboarding and training of new team members when requested, sharing best practices and safe work methods.Maintain a clean, organized work area to support productive workflows and safe operations.Perform additional assigned tasks that support production goals and continuous improvement.TeamYou’ll work closely with manufacturing, quality, and operations colleagues, contributing to a respectful, inclusive environment where everyone’s work matters. and abilities neededPrior experience in mechanical or product assembly, or related hands‑on manufacturing work.Ability to read and understand technical drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials.Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools and small power tools safely.Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with an understanding of quality standards and tolerances.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time and multiple tasks effectively.Clear written and verbal communication skills to support teamwork and training.Commitment to safe work practices, including consistent use of required personal protective equipment.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of regular job duties.The pay range is $21.30 - 28.80.
