Responsibilities

- Responsible for all aspects of millwright maintenance at the mine site and surrounding areas. This includes preventative maintenance work, equipment repairs and participation in developing maintenance programs
- Rebuilding pumps of various types and sizes
- Removal of pumps, fans and agitators for maintenance
- Bearing replacements, belt/sheave changes and adjustments
- Oil changes on equipment
- Some occasional welding/fabricating
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment
- Overtime, call outs, and shift work as required
- Move and operate mining equipment

Skills and Qualifications





- Must have an Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic ticket
- A Journeyperson Machinist ticket considered an asset
- Welding experience and/or a Journeyperson Welder is considered an asset
- Heavy Duty Mechanic experience and / Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic an asset
- Valuable understanding of pumps and other mechanical equipment related to the mine operation
- Willing to assist other trades in the completion of their duties
- Able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions
- Priority will be given to residents of the Saskatchewans North

Work Location & Schedule

- McClean Lake
- 14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule
- Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required
- This position requires moderate physical ability
