Warehouse Receiver / Organizer - Day Shift

We are currently hiring an experienced Warehouse Receiver / Organizer for a full-time day-shift opportunity in Scarborough. This role combines forklift operation, receiving, merchandise organization, replenishment, and physical warehouse work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

- $27.00/hour total compensation for the first 6 weeks
- After the first 6 weeks, compensation consists of a $19.00/hour base rate plus performance-based incentives
- Performance incentives are based on the company's established productivity and performance standards

Available Day Shifts

Candidates must be available for either of the following schedules:

- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Approximately 5 to 6 shifts per week
- Must be available to work at least one Saturday or Sunday each week
- Occasional overtime may be required

Responsibilities

- Receive, move, organize, and replenish merchandise throughout the warehouse
- Safely operate forklifts, including Raymond Reach or similar equipment
- Move inventory between receiving, storage, and operational areas
- Perform frequent lifting, carrying, and merchandise-handling duties
- Assist with maintaining accurate and organized inventory
- Work safely across refrigerated, frozen, and room-temperature warehouse areas
- Follow warehouse procedures, safety requirements, and supervisor instructions




- Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

- Valid forklift certification
- Solid practical forklift operating experience, preferably with a Raymond Reach or similar reach truck
- Applicants must have actual hands-on operating experience. A forklift certificate alone is not sufficient
- Able to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English
- Chinese-language skills are considered an asset
- Able to frequently lift and handle merchandise ranging from approximately 2 lbs to more than 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in multiple temperature-controlled environments, including approximately -18°C, -2°C, 6°C, and room temperature
- Physically capable of performing demanding warehouse and replenishment duties
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain reliable attendance
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a warehouse team

Practical forklift operating experience is mandatory for this position. Candidates who hold a certification but do not have hands-on operating experience will not be considered.

Pay: Up to $27.00 per hour
