Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver and become a vital part of our logistics operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the flow of goods through shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while supporting seamless warehouse distribution.

Hours of Work:

· This is a day shift, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Possibility to work overtime and weekends if required based on company or client needs.

Requirements:

· Prior warehouse experience is required.

· Able to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.

· Self-motivated and able to work independently.

· Candidates must be capable of safely lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling items weighing up to 100 lbs (45 kg), either independently or with approved safe work practices.

· Able to climb small ladders and small step stools.

· Basic knowledge of inventory management process.

· Robust attention to detail and accuracy.

· Must have current First Aid and Forklift Certification.

· WHMIS Certification.

· A fun, motivated, outgoing, let’s get this done attitude.

· Speak and write English proficiently.

Health & Safety:

· CSA approved footwear is required.

· CSA approved gloves. (Company supplied)

· Report any unsafe working conditions to Management.

Inventory Management:

· Ensure stock rotation for all serialized items according to FIFO practices.

· Assist in monthly cycle counts and our general inventory.

· Assist in pre-counts / recounts prior to inventory.

· Work close with Parts manager for any parts discrepancies.

· A general understanding of warranty procedures.

Warehouse Conditions:

· Warehouse environment with exposure to all weather conditions.

· Must be able to stand, walk and lift for long periods of time.





· Will maintain a clean working environment at all times.

Internal / External Order Fulfillment:

· Attention to quality and accuracy for packing all shipments from vendors or to clients.

· Establish a trusting, friendly relationship for vendors, couriers and customers.

Shipping & Receiving:

· Ensure accuracy for goods coming to and from the warehouse.

· Receive and inspect all goods for inventory.

· Receive and put away inventory in the system.

· Inspect and package all goods for internal or external clients.

· All loading and unloading of goods to the warehouse.

· High-quality customer service internally and externally.

· Pick and pack all goods efficiently from inventory and production work orders to Strumco standards.

· Prepare all and any shipping documents from packing slips, bill of ladings and shipping labels as needed.

· Organizing all orders for deliveries and stage all ready-to-go shipments.

· Operate any material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.

· Following all procedures for all packaging.

Warehouse Organization:

· Time management for multi tasking, organize and determine priority in a fast-moving environment.

· Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and shipping area for efficiency is a must.

Reporting / Observation:

· Advise management of unsafe work practice.

· Advise management of any equipment or mechanical issues.

· Advise management of any potential financial impact to the company.

Strumco Communication:

· Work with all team members for open communication.

· Participate openly in discussion for opportunities that support Strumco.

· Promote an enjoyable culture for all.

Additional Duties:

· Any other duties as requested by supervisor within reason.

What We Offer

Full-time employment: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Onsite work at our Edmonton location (no travel required).

Competitive wages commensurate with experience.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
