Join Our Team – Part-Time Watchmaker

City Jewellers is a family-owned business proudly serving Winnipeg since 1984. What started as a small workshop specializing in watch, clock, and jewellery repairs has grown into a trusted destination for fine jewellery, watches, and professional repair services.

We are currently looking for an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Part-Time or Full-time Watchmaker to join our team at our Polo Park location.

What You’ll Do

- Perform watch battery replacements
- Replace and properly fit watch crystals
- Replace crowns and stems
- Replace and size watch bands and bracelets
- Remove and install watch links
- Perform complete watch servicing, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, lubrication, where required, resssembly, adjustment, and testing of quartz, solar, mechanical, and automatic watches
- Perform quartz movement replacements
- Diagnose common watch problems and recommend appropriate repairs
- Perform minor watch repairs and adjustments
- Replace and properly lubricate case-back gaskets
- Pressure test watches when required
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure proper function and workmanship
- Maintain a clean and organized watch repair work area




- Handle customers’ watches carefully and professionally

What We’re Looking For

- Previous professional watch repair experience is required
- Strong knowledge of quartz watches and general watch repair
- Experience working with a variety of watch brands and case styles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good hand skills and ability to work with small, delicate components
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship
- Comfortable working in a customer-focused jewellery store environment

Position Details

- Part time or full-time position
- Located at City Jewellers – Polo Park, Winnipeg
- Hours and schedule to be discussed based on availability
- Competitive compensation based on experience
