Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Water Heater Installer to join our team. You will travel to residential and commercial properties to remove old units and install new traditional tank, tankless, or high-efficiency water heating systems. The ideal candidate has solid mechanical skills, a commitment to safety, and a track record of providing great customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation: Safely install, connect, and test new gas, electric, or tankless water heaters according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
- Removal: Disconnect, drain, and haul away old or non-functional water heaters.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose plumbing, venting, gas line, or electrical issues on existing hot water equipment.
- Customer Service: Explain installation procedures to clients, answer questions, and recommend energy-efficient upgrade options.
- Compliance: Ensure all work adheres strictly to local safety standards, electrical codes, and gas regulations.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on heating and plumbing components when required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education:



High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12 minimum).
- Licensing: Valid local gas technician license (such as a Gas Technician 2 / G2 license where applicable by regional regulations) and a clean valid driver's license.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC, or dedicated water heater installation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and maneuver water heaters using proper material handling tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication, punctuality, and a professional, friendly demeanor when dealing with customers
