Role Description The Web Content Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Halifax, NS, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. In this position, the specialist will create, edit, and publish web content across company websites and digital platforms, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency with brand guidelines.

Daily tasks include managing content through a CMS, optimizing pages for user experience and search performance, and collaborating with technical and marketing teams to align content with business goals. The role also involves monitoring web analytics,



refining content based on performance data, and contributing to content calendars and strategy discussions. The specialist will work closely with colleagues to ensure all digital content is engaging, accessible, and relevant to EgoTECHworld’s audience.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Web Content Writing and clear, skilled Communication for digital audiences.
- Experience with Content Management using common CMS platforms and maintaining organized, updated web pages.
- Ability to use Web Analytics tools to interpret data and adjust content for improved performance and engagement.
- Background in Content Strategy, including planning, prioritizing topics, and aligning content with organizational goals.
- Additional beneficial qualifications: familiarity with basic SEO principles, understanding of UX best practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
