All Steel Craft Fabricators Ltd is a well-established Edmonton based company looking for field welders (CWB Certified) to join our team.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of three years structural steel welding experience and completion of secondary schooling.

Welder will be required to perform the following duties;

- Perform SMAW welding on structural steel components in the field.
- Weld structural steel beams, columns, braces, connections, base plates, stiffeners and miscellaneous steel.
- Perform all-position welding, including flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead welds. CWB Certification a must!
- Read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, welding symbols and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
- Identify weld sizes, types, locations and required welding procedures from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare steel surfaces and joints for welding,



including cleaning, grinding, beveling and removing mill scale, rust, paint or other contaminants.
- Verify proper fit-up, alignment and joint preparation before welding.
- Perform tack welding and assist the erection crew with positioning and securing steel members.
