Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welders Helper/Labourer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will assist skilled welders and machine operators in preparing materials, handling tools, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production setting, working with a variety of advanced equipment including CNC plasma cutters, radial arm drill press, basic hand tools, hydraulic press machines.

Duties

- Assist welders and machinists with setup, material handling, and clean-up tasks to ensure smooth workflow
- Operate hand tools and basic machinery under supervision to support fabrication activities
- Support the use of CNC equipment , plasma cutters,
- Help with blueprint reading and measurement using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications
- Conduct quality inspections on finished components to verify adherence to standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials
- Support assembly tasks as directed, ensuring parts are correctly positioned for welding or further processing

Qualifications





- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and understanding technical drawings
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools and basic machining equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Experience or familiarity with welding processes is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to crane operation, forklift handling, and machine use
- Solid attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection standards
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while working efficiently in a team environment
