Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Welding Shop Laborer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the fabrication and assembly of metal components, ensuring that projects are to the highest quality standards. Your hands-on work will include general tasks as keep the shop and yard clean. we will train you on any other skills required, such as operating the bandsaw, pipe threader, grinders and other task required.

Duties

- Assist with welding operations using MIG (Metal Inert Gas) techniques, ensuring proper setup and safety protocols are followed
- Prepare materials for welding by measuring, cutting tools, and power tools
- Support rigging activities for moving heavy equipment or materials with cranes or forklifts, adhering to safety standards
- Assist in the assembly of manufactured parts,



ensuring alignment with schematics and specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments

Experience

- Prior experience in welding, manufacturing, or construction environments is highly preferred but not necessary.
- Familiarity with rigging procedures, crane operation, forklift certification is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during cutting processes
