About the Role

Paloma Pressure Control Canada is seeking an experienced Wellhead Service Manager to lead and oversee our wellhead field service operations in Alberta. This position is responsible for coordinating field personnel, customer schedules, equipment readiness, service execution, and overall operational performance while maintaining Paloma’s commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

The ideal candidate is an experienced oilfield professional with a strong background in wellhead or pressure control services who can confidently lead field teams, manage changing operational priorities, and build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day execution of wellhead field service operations across the assigned region.
- Coordinate wellhead installation, maintenance, testing, repair, and removal activities supporting drilling, completions, production, and intervention operations.
- Develop and maintain field schedules based on customer requirements, employee competencies, rotations, and operational priorities.
- Lead and support Wellhead Field Technicians, Leads, and Supervisors.
- Ensure the appropriate personnel and equipment are available and prepared for upcoming jobs.
- Provide technical and operational support to field personnel during complex or non-routine operations.
- Coordinate with Shop, Operations, Engineering, Quality, HSE, and Sales teams to ensure equipment and personnel are ready for field deployment.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, equipment records, reports, and job information.




- Monitor labour utilization, overtime, travel, standby, and other operational costs.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and development of field personnel.
- Ensure employees are properly trained and competent for assigned work and support the development of structured technician progression.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and act as a key operational point of contact for wellhead service requirements.
- Participate in customer planning meetings, pre-job meetings, operational reviews, and field activities as required.
- Respond effectively to changing customer schedules and operational requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure field activities comply with Paloma policies, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.
- Participate in field audits, inspections, incident investigations, NCRs, and root cause analysis activities.
- Identify recurring operational and equipment issues and work with internal teams to implement corrective actions and improve reliability.
- Monitor operational performance and provide management with updates on activity levels, manpower, equipment readiness, customer concerns, and operational risks.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality, workforce efficiency,



equipment reliability, and customer relationships.

What We're Looking For
- 7–10 years of experience in wellhead, pressure control, completions, or related oilfield services preferred.
- 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in field operations preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of surface wellhead equipment and related field service operations.
- Experience supporting drilling and completions operations in Western Canada is considered a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of pressure-containing equipment, pressure testing, well control principles, and safe work practices.
- Proven ability to lead field personnel and manage complex scheduling and operational requirements.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced field setting.
- Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with field service or ERP systems.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel throughout the operating region as required.
