Enhance the lives of youth with Strive Living Society in Vancouver, BC as a Casual Specialized Child and Youth Support Worker. This part-time, in office role focuses on behavioral management and individualized support.
Strive Living Society is seeking a compassionate individual for its residential locations within Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Coquitlam. In this position, qualified candidates will provide support to individuals with developmental delays and mental health challenges. This role emphasizes fostering independence and managing challenging behaviors in a two-to-one care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement behavior management strategies with clients
• Assist individuals with daily living activities and community integration
• Document daily activities and client progress accurately
• Transport clients to appointments and social activities
• Follow health care plans and individual protocols
Requirements:
• Class 5 BC Driver's License and clean abstract
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Criminal Record Clearance and First Aid certification
• Positive Behaviour Management Training
• Personal vehicle for work with insurance coverage
