Wage:
$34.98 per hour (full-time position; 37.5 hours) + perks in accordance with UNION collective agreement

Various locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Province of Ontario
Job Description:
Review and complete PDI deficiency lists
Apply paper or mesh tape and joint compound over drywall joints
Mix plaster ingredients in trough to desired consistency
Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster using trowels, floats, brushes and spraying equipment
Cure freshly plastered surfaces
Perform drywall repairs, patching, sanding and painting touch-ups
Complete minor caulking and finishing work
Repair minor damage to walls, ceilings and finishes
Identify incomplete or defective work and report any issues requiring another trade
Protect finished surfaces and keep work areas clean
Take before-and-after photos and provide updates on completed work
Coordinate with site supervisors, homeowners and other trades when required
Follow all company policies and health and safety requirements
Job Requirements:
1-2 years of previous experience with PDI, deficiency or general handyman work
Knowledge of hand and power finishing tools, taping machines, and mixing equipment
Knowledge of drywall, painting and finishing repairs
Ability to lift heavy materials, work in awkward positions, and work on ladders or scaffolding
Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
Able to follow instructions and work well with others on construction sites.
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to read deficiency lists and follow instructions
Own basic tools and reliable transportation
Valid driver’s licence
