We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Millwright/Electrician to support a roof and wall panel manufacturing facility in Delta, BC. This hands-on role is ideal for a Red Seal Electrician with strong millwright and mechanical experience who enjoys troubleshooting and improving equipment in a complex production environment.

The successful candidate will report to the Plant Engineer and play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and improving the plant's mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems. The site is clean, safety-conscious, and home to a close-knit team of approximately 25 employees.

This is a full time, morning shift temp-to-perm opportunity. Permanent placement is anticipated after approximately four to six months, based on performance and business needs.

Permanent Pay Progression

Upon permanent hire, compensation will be assessed against the following pay levels based on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated technical ability.

Permanent Pay Level – Hourly Rate

Level 1 – $43.53

Level 2 – $46.50

Level 3 – $48.00

Level 4 – $52.16

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative, corrective,



and emergency maintenance on plant equipment and respond to production service calls.

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, PLC, SQL, and network-related systems.

Install new equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Design and fabricate parts, fixtures, structures, and equipment to repair, maintain, modify, and improve plant operations.

Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs and maintenance hours.

Support maintenance and repair of plant building systems as required.

Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to respond to alarms, power outages, and general emergencies.

Requirements

Red Seal Electrician is preferred or Red Seal Millwright

Strong millwright and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility.

Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-controlled equipment.

Ability to troubleshoot complex production equipment safely and independently.

A practical, collaborative approach to continuous improvement and plant reliability.

Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and clear maintenance documentation.

Rudimentary ability in transactions between PLC and SQL

Rudimentary ability with Allen Bradley Control logics and HMI's

Rudimentary ability in Transaction manager

Rudimentary ability in Powerflex 40, 725 drives as well as Powerflex 755 drives and Kintex 300 servo drives

Rudimentary ability in Micro logics 820 PLC's

Proficient in working with Endress & Hauser mass flow meters

Rudimentary ability in Siemens controls
