North East School Division invites applications for the position of Permanent School Bus Driver for Route #95 inTisdale & Area with duties to commence September 11th, 2026 or as soon as mutually agreed upon.
The North East School Division is looking for friendly, responsible, and energetic individuals to add to our transportation team. School bus drivers are an important part of a student's day. They are there to greet, guide, and ensure your community's children stay safe as they travel to and from school.
Route details:
Location: Tisdale
Estimated daily km: 170.80/day (subject to change)
Starts: September 11th or as soon as mutually agreed upon
As a Route school bus driver, you:
Provide transportation for students to and from school
Are eligible for medical and pension perks
Earn income and have weekends,
evenings and holidays free to pursue other interests
Support your local community by providing a service for children and parents
Requirements:
Be medically and physically able to perform the duties of a bus driver
Minimum valid class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's license (not learner's or graduated license)
Currently possess or able to obtain a driver's license "S" Endorsement for school bus
Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
Acceptable driver's abstract
Capable of using technology for e-mail, internet access, typical office software, and GPS
Must have reliable transportation
Training:
Paid training, including mileage, is provided for successful candidates. Successful candidates will be reimbursed for the costs of; Commercial Medical, SGI Driver's Abstract, CRC and Vulnerable Sector Check, and S-endorsement testing.
