Job Description What is the opportunity? Working as an AML Compliance Analyst in the Financial Crimes function at RBC you will help identify and manage AML risks, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, regulations, and industry standards. Interact with leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities. Network and build lasting relationships with students from diverse backgrounds from across Canada.
What will you do? Maintaining and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the compliance program and its related activities.
Work alongside with AML Advisory and be responsible for analyzing Financial Crimes risks.
Work with various groups including business partners, AML internal partners to ensure a holistic approach to risk management.
Proactively initiate discussions and solutions to new opportunities, challenges and approaches, and challenge status quo.
Staying Updated - Stay on top of industry standards and emerging AML risk.
Analyze reports and provide a summary of findings - downstream activity.
Assist with program evolution as opportunities arise.
Training and Awareness - Contribute to training.
Work efficiently in an office-based location in downtown Toronto.

Eligibility and Duration This posting is for a 4-months Winter 2027 Student placement with a start date of January 2027, and end date of April 2027. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either: Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2027; or If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2027), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully. Please ensure that you meet these eligibility requirements before applying - candidates who apply but are found to be ineligible are not able to be considered.

Location and Working Arrangement The successful candidate for this role will be required to be located within Ontario for the duration of the work term. Details regarding the specific virtual, hybrid, and in-office arrangements for this Integrated Learning/ Co-op position are to be discussed with the Hiring Manager.
