Speech-Language Pathologist, Island Health

This is a temporary, full-time position at West Coast General Hospital, with a planned end date of approximately April 28, 2028. You’ll work Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with weekends and statutory holidays off. The planned start date is August 4, 2026.

What You’ll Do
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides communication and dysphagia services to adults (19+) across inpatient and outpatient settings. The position will also provide remote support to Tofino General Hospital.



Travel to Nanaimo Regional General Hospital may be occasionally required for training purposes.

What You’ll Need to Apply
Graduation from a recognized university program in Speech-Language Pathology
Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Speech-Language Pathologist
