Salary Range:CA$18.00 To CA$20.00 AnnuallyWe are currently looking for a Shipping Receiver to join our team and provide support to the Facilities Department.Reporting to the Facility Coordinator, the Receiver is primarily responsible for receiving all inventory and non-inventory items. This includes proper labeling and storage of all inventory items and distribution of non‑inventory items.The Receiver also monitors inventory levels of gas cylinders in the inventory area along with specialty gases for NOx and CO and requisitions replacement items on a weekly basis.Shipping duties include overseeing pick‑up hazardous waste.Duties and responsibilitiesReceiving of all items, including data entry and preparation of receiving paperwork for accounting departmentLabeling and storage of inventory items and distribution of non‑inventory itemsDelivery of samples to the Product Preparation area after entering into LIMSOversee pick‑up of hazardous wastePackage and prepare shipping documents for outgoing shipmentsMonitoring inventory level, and requisitioning of gas cylindersRequisitioning of DI TanksRequisitioning of water softener saltUndertake general sanitation and cleaning tasks,



ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the laboratoryUndertake minor maintenance tasks and assist other facilities staff with various dutiesWaste and recycling disposal (non‑chemical)Parking lot maintenance – cleaning, de‑icing walkwaysOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentWork cooperatively in a team environmentMulti‑task and prioritize tasksExperience in a shipping/receiving role would be an assetExperience in preparing shipping documents, including international shipments would be an assetYou are the ideal candidate for the above position if you have a demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for working in a team‑based setting.
