Siemens Energy is hiring a Wind Turbine Technician for our Blue Hill wind farm in Alberta. This role is critical in ensuring safety and quality for all wind turbine operations.
In this technical position, you will provide maintenance and troubleshooting for SG4X turbines and excel in customer service. Candidates are expected to work at heights and handle complex systems, requiring a commitment to safety and problem resolution. Extensive training is available to enhance both your skills and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair Siemens Gamesa SG4X wind turbines
• Document services and customer interactions promptly
• Operate inside turbine enclosures up to 300 feet high
• Develop and enhance field procedures and practices
• Accept additional roles at the wind farm
Requirements:
• Knowledge of electrical systems, including converters
• Experience working safely in a team setting
• Ability to organize and analyze work effectively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Must hold a valid Passport and Driver's License
