Embark on an impactful journey as a Mechanical Intern at ZTR in London, Ontario. Collaborate with our mechanical team to develop and validate hardware designs for the rail industry.

In this unique internship, you'll play a vital role for 4 to 12 months, contributing to creative projects with a focus on environmental sustainability. As a Mechanical or Mechatronic student, you'll gain hands-on experience using Solidworks and CAE software while working to create technical documentation and support production recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and validate components, weldments, and hardware assemblies
• Develop technical documentation for mechanical hardware products
• Select materials for structural assemblies and electrical enclosures




• Integrate CAE documents into PDM software systems
• Prepare recommendations for locomotive subsystems production

Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in Mechanical or Mechatronic studies
• Experience with Solidworks or related CAE software
• Basic understanding of GD&T; principles
• Proficient in Excel and PDM suites
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
