Contribute to quality assurance with Apotex as a Lab Technician. Engage in laboratory operations, instrument management, and waste disposal to maintain compliance and safety standards.
In this role within the Quality Unit, you will document shipping and receiving processes of lab instruments and chemicals, maintain inventory, and handle laboratory cleanliness. Key skills include attention to detail, compliance with Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and effective communication. Your contribution ensures that the laboratory meets its operational goals and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Document the movement of lab instruments and chemicals
• Maintain inventory of chemicals and lab ware
• Ensure cleanliness of the laboratory and instruments
• Dispose of hazardous waste safely and responsibly
• Conduct Performance Qualifications on lab instruments
Requirements:
• Chemical Technician diploma or high school diploma with experience
• 3 years of industrial or laboratory experience preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to lift up to 20 Kg periodically
• Strong communication skills required
