Join the YMCA team as a Level 2 Early Childhood Educator in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This part time role focuses on child development and supporting children with FSCD funding.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will promote the growth of children aged 0-12 through engaging, YMCA-approved programs. Your role includes providing one-on-one support to children, implementing individualized strategies, and fostering an inclusive environment. You'll connect with families and document children's progress every day.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement YMCA curriculum for child developmental needs
• Facilitate creative activities promoting exploration and interaction
• Observe and document children's behavior and development




• Maintain a safe environment following licensing regulations
• Communicate regularly with parents about child updates

Requirements:
• Level 1, 2, or 3 Child Care Certification
• Experience with children with developmental disabilities preferred
• Standard First Aid & CPR - C required
• Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector check needed
• Experience with tablets and Microsoft Word
