Support autistic youth at the Canucks Autism Network as a Support Worker in Kamloops, engaging them in fun recreational activities like Skate and Gymnastics. Facilitate their growth and development in a welcoming environment.

The role includes providing individualized support to children during various programs, enhancing their confidence and skills through interaction and engagement. Your collaboration with coaches, volunteers, and supervisors is vital to ensure each child's unique needs are met, promoting a safe and inclusive experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for all participants
• Modify activities for each individual's needs
• Encourage skill growth and confidence in participants




• Collaborate effectively within the support team
• Upholding health and safety practices

Requirements:
• Aged 16 years or older
• Successful Criminal Record Checks needed
• Flexible schedule with evening and weekend availability
• Proficiency in skating or swimming as required for roles
• Previous experience with autistic populations is a plus
