Our client is looking for an experienced

Human Resources Manager

to lead the HR function at an established, unionized operation in

Central PEI . This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being both

strategic and hands‑on

and wants to have a meaningful impact on workforce planning, employee relations, labour relations, recruitment, retention, and organizational development. What You'll Be Doing:

Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and succession planning Manage labour and employee relations within a unionized environment Administer and interpret collective agreement provisions Manage grievances, investigations, discipline, and workplace issues Advise managers and supervisors on HR and employee relations matters Ensure compliance with employment standards, labour legislation, human rights, and other HR requirements Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs Oversee HR records, HRIS, reporting,



and workforce metrics Supervise HR staff and coordinate day‑to‑day HR operations Support employee communications and engagement initiatives Provide leadership with HR guidance and recommendations to support operational goals What We're Looking For:

5+ years of progressive HR experience Experience in a unionized environment Strong knowledge of labour relations and collective agreement administration Experience managing grievances and employee relations matters Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR compliance Experience with recruitment, workforce planning, retention, and succession planning Robust communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational skills HR-related post-secondary education CPHR/CHRP designation is an asset Knowledge of Canadian immigration and immigration pathways is an asset If you're an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity where you can make a real impact on an organization's people strategy and day‑to‑day operations, we'd love to hear from you.
