Manitoulin Transport seeks a Junior Foreman in Winnipeg to oversee dock activities and uphold safety standards. This role is pivotal for service quality at our terminal.

As a Junior Foreman, your main responsibilities will include leading dock operations and ensuring that safety and service goals are met at the Winnipeg Terminal. You will also step in for the Dock Foreman during their absence, making your leadership and communication skills essential for success. The regular work schedule is from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with additional weekends when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate safety and performance on the dock floor
• Support Dock Foreman during absences




• Plan effective delivery routes in Winnipeg area
• Instruct and train new hires in dock operations
• Oversee loading, unloading, and cross-docking of freight

Requirements:
• Familiarity with Winnipeg and rural locales
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to acquire skills for PM dock
• Forklift certification is necessary
• Ability to mentor and train recent staff
