As a member of the electrical engineering team in Toronto, you will beexpected to apply established calculation and design methods when preparingplans, schematics, technical specificationsand project estimatesrelated to HV substations and renewable power facilities (Grid scaleBattery Energy Storage, Wind, Solar, Hydro).

Draft technical documents, calculation notes, specifications and study reports

Overview of certifications and job requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineeringfrom an accredited program

Member in good standing with PEO

Be a new grad from school, or have ideally up to 2 years of experience in engineering as well as proficiency in reading and preparing electrical schematics of various types (single lines, three lines, and interconnection drawings)

Available for short-term assignments

Knowledge of MS Office and other database applications

Basic knowledge of HV/MV/LV apparatus and safety in electrical installations

Asset: Bilingual (English and French) spoken and written

Asset: Knowledge of power systems (HV, MV, LV)

Asset: Knowledge of ETAP, EasyPower, CYME and PSCAD software

Asset: Advanced engineering degree

Annual base salary, based on 40 hours weekly, between $65,000 - $85,500
