Human Resources Administrator
Alberta FNIGC is a not-for-profit, First Nations-owned organisation advancing First Nations' Ownership, Control, Access, and Possession (OCAP®) principles and information governance. We're looking for an organised, detail-oriented HR Administrator to support recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and day-to-day HR processes with professionalism, accuracy, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate, confidential employee files, records, and HR documentation

Support recruitment: job postings, interview coordination, candidate communication, and applicant tracking

Assist with on-boarding/off-boarding — documentation, required forms, and process coordination

Support the coordination and tracking of performance reviews, probationary reviews, and follow-ups

Assist with benefits, leave, attendance, and other HR administrative processes, including payroll-related information

Prepare HR letters, forms,



reports, and meeting notes

Respond to employee and manager inquiries and track outstanding deadlines and follow-ups

Maintain organised digital and paper filing systems, including shared folders and HR systems

What You Bring

Experience in HR administration, office administration, recruitment support, or a related role

Strong organisation, attention to detail, and time-management skills

Discretion and professionalism handling confidential information

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS/ATS experience considered an asset

Clear, skilled written and verbal communication

Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, OCAP® and First Nations data governance principles

Post-secondary education in HR, business/office administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
