Schedule: Monday to Friday (8 am to 4:30 pm) – flexibility required to work weekends, schedule may vary based on business needs.Location: 4951 - 110 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta.About The RoleAs a Warehouse Associate II you will be responsible for accurately and safely gathering, packaging, and preparing products according to the weekly sales order and establishing practice and procedures for product shipping, picking, and storing. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for identifying and confirming any products received that do not comply with the required quality and quantity. As part of the Production team, you will collaborate with all personnel and managers to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly.What You Will Be DoingMaintain a clean and organized work environment including food storage and non‑food storage areas.Operate a forklift, stacker, and other material handling equipment safely in compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy.Coordinate with the team to update inventory levels daily along with consumption.Conduct cycle count processes to ensure inventory accuracy and efficient utilization.Follow inventory management processes and policies to optimize costs and improve inventory accuracy.Analyze, manage, and maintain optimum inventory levels; continuously improve inventory performance.Work closely with the Production Management team to ensure all issues are communicated effectively to reduce deviations from the production schedule.Ensure safety performance metrics are met by leading safety improvement activities and effectively managing safety performance in the warehouse.Schedule and train employees according to the company’s standard operating procedures.Issue tickets for daily delivery shortages and non‑delivery issues.Identify quality issues with incoming products and collaborate with teams to ensure only the best products are accepted into the facility.Ensure daily and accurate information flow in receiving systems and paperwork.Maintain and organize pallet locations.Prepare shipping documents and ensure ships out are completed within the time limit.Learn company software and databases to execute receiving, inventory process, and documentation.Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations.Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer.Perform other duties as assigned.At a Minimum, You HaveHigh school diploma or equivalent.1–3 years of experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or service industry.Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification.Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.Experience standing for prolonged periods, including bending, twisting, and walking.Familiarity with MS Office and/or Google Apps and comfort learning recent technologies.Experience with inventory management and control.Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.Attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on food safety or quality deviations.Will be required to move heavy equipment and materials for line set up, changes, and operation.Willingness and ability to work in a refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C).What You’ll Get In ReturnCompetitive salary and health benefits.Shift premiums for afternoon and overnight shifts.75% discount on HelloFresh or Chefs Plate weekly box subscription.High impact work to help feed thousands of families in Canada.Opportunities to learn and grow.Work with a hard‑working and supportive team.Working ConditionsAs a food company, we use many ingredients that may be considered common allergens (e.G., peanuts, tree nuts, milk).
