OverviewPayroll Compensation AnalystLocation: Leon’s Home OfficeReports to: HR Development ManagerLeon’s is currently seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team at Home Office. This role is responsible for supporting the design, administration, and ongoing management of compensation programs across the organization, while providing data-driven insights through HR systems and reporting. A key focus of this role will be the development and implementation of job bands and salary structures, as well as supporting the launch of our performance management module as we move toward implementation and go-live. We are seeking a candidate with direct, hands-on experience in compensation program design and implementation who can bring practical knowledge and structure to these initiatives. This is an excellent prospect for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable building and enhancing programs from the ground up.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of job bands, salary structures, and job evaluation frameworks across the organizationSupport the design and launch of the performance management module, ensuring alignment with compensation programs and processesAdminister base pay and incentive programs, including merit increases and bonus plansConduct job evaluations and maintain internal equity and market competitivenessProvide recommendations on compensation changes in line with company guidelines and philosophyParticipate in annual salary surveys, benchmarking, and audit processesPrepare compensation analysis and reporting to support HR and leadership decision-makingLeverage HRIS, payroll, and compensation data to identify trends,
gaps, and opportunitiesSupport offer development, including compensation recommendations and employment documentationMaintain and ensure accuracy of compensation data within HR systemsAssist with compensation budgeting and forecasting processesPartner with HR, Payroll, and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation practicesIdentify opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficienciesParticipate in special projects and other duties as requiredEducation & ExperiencePost-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 3–5 years of direct experience in compensation program design and administrationProven experience building job bands, salary structures, or job evaluation frameworks is requiredExperience supporting or implementing performance management systems or modules is strongly preferredExperience in a retail or multi-location environment is considered an assetExperience with HRIS systems such as ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is preferredCertified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation, or in-progress, is an assetKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detailAdvanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data modelingAbility to interpret data and translate it into clear,
