Responsibilities

- Prepare menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Operate the Micros POS system accurately for order entry, payments, and receipts
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas following food safety guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly without compromising quality




- Assist with food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations

Experience

- Previous food preparation or food service experience preferred but not required; training provided on-site
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order totaling, and change calculation
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is advantageous but not mandatory
