Winery Sales & Event Associate

Willow Springs Winery – Stouffville, Ontario

Part-Time / Full-Time

Willow Springs Winery is currently seeking a dependable Winery Sales & Event Associate. This is a hands-on position that blends winery retail and guest service with support for weddings, private functions and day-to-day wine tastings.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has an interest in wine and is equally comfortable assisting customers in the wine shop and helping the team prepare the venue for events.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide welcoming and qualified service to winery guests;

· Help customers choose wines and make product recommendations;

· Conduct or support wine tastings;

· Handle retail transactions using the POS system;

· Replenish wine and merchandise and keep the retail space organized;

· Support wedding and event preparation, including setting up tables, chairs, linens, place settings, signage and related event items;

· Help with event breakdown and other general winery duties as needed;

· Work closely with the winery’s sales, hospitality and event teams.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in retail sales, hospitality, restaurants, wineries or event operations is an asset.

WSET Level 2 Award in Wines or equivalent wine knowledge is considered a strong asset.





Candidates should have strong communication and customer-service skills, a professional and approachable manner and a genuine interest in learning about wine.

The role requires someone who is dependable, organized and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Because this position includes event setup, candidates must also be comfortable with physical tasks such as moving tables, chairs, cases of wine and other event equipment.

Availability to work weekends and some evenings is required, particularly during wedding and event season.

Smart Serve certification is required or must be obtained before serving alcohol.

Reliable transportation to the winery is strongly preferred.
