Mogouyan Hand-Pulled Noodle is a Chinese restaurant located in the heart of Mont-Tremblant. We specialize in authentic Chinese cuisine and hand-pulled noodles, and we're looking for an experienced Wok Chef to join our kitchen team.
About the Position
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Wok Chef who is confident working with high heat, maintaining consistent quality, and preparing Chinese dishes efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
The ideal candidate is passionate about Chinese cuisine, works well under pressure, and takes pride in the quality and presentation of their food.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Chinese dishes using a wok
- Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
- Properly control wok heat and cooking times
- Prepare ingredients and sauces for service
- Keep the wok station clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team
- Help with general kitchen duties when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Wok Chef or Chinese Line Cook
- Strong wok cooking skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques
- Must be willing to relocate to Mont-Tremblant
What We Offer
- $18–$20/hour, based on experience and skill level (+20%tips)
- Full-time position – approximately 40 hours/week
