Woodlands Supervisor – Indigenous Relations

Vernon or Kamloops, British Columbia

We’re looking for a Woodlands Supervisor to join our Southern Interior Woodlands Team. You'll be at the center of some of the most important relationships shaping B.C. forestry by working directly with First Nations and woodlands team to build practical solutions, strengthen partnerships and support responsible access to the land. You may come from Forestry, Economic development, Natural resources, Indigenous relations, or related fields. What matters most is your ability to build meaningful, trusted relationships, navigate complex issues and find solutions.

We’re looking for a Woodlands Supervisor - Indigenous Relations to join our Southern Interior Woodlands Division. The Southern Interior Woodlands Team manages Tolko's tenure and fibre supply in the Southern Interior of British Columbia, covering an area of 953,447 hectares. We are dedicated to sustaining these areas to the benefit of all who live and work there. Successful candidate can be based in either the Vernon or Kamloops area.

Our ideal candidate has the following assets:

- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining respectful, productive relationships with Indigenous communities, including engagement, consultation, partnership development and collaboration related to forestry, resource management or land-based activities.
- A minimum of 5 years’ related forestry, woodlands or Indigenous relations experience.
- A proven commitment to safety and the ability to recognize and eliminate hazards while ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations and company policies.
- Ability to establish and maintain successful relationships with contractors, government agencies,



community partners and internal teams; contract negotiation experience is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, computer and analytical skills, with sound knowledge of forestry equipment capabilities and productivity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
